Preventative Maintenance

Important: In order to save a great deal of time and hassle, I strongly encourage every user in our department to complete the three tasks below.  If you could have prevented a problem but didn't take the time to do so, I may be unable to assist you if and when something goes wrong.

• Instructions for performing the three steps
• Windows/Microsoft Update patches must be applied
• Symantec Antivirus must be installed and running
• Windows Defender must be installed and running

Following these steps should stop 99% of the computer bugs out there and should save everyone time and headaches.
