Eligibility

Eligible applicants...

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Drexel in a relevant academic program, or have applied to or have been accepted to a relevant Drexel graduate program (please visit http://www.drexel.edu/em/apply/grad/ to apply to a Drexel University graduate program)
• Must have an excellent academic record
• Must complete the FAFSA form (see below)
• Are planning to pursue a Ph.D.
• Plan to pursue research work in the area of computational materials science and engineering
• Are planning a career in teaching or research

FASFA Information

If you are interested in applying for this program you MUST fill out a FAFSA form. The FAFSA deadline is March 1st.

You will notice that the Drexel deadlines differ from the deadlines on the government FAFSA website. We have to go by Drexel’s FAFSA deadlines, so the deadline is March 1st.

By filling out a FAFSA, you will be receiving a whole financial aid package from Drexel. Be sure NOT to accept any of the loans about which they send you information without consulting Dorilona Rose. Accepting these loans may make you ineligible for the GAANN.
