Michael Pepe-Mooney

What is your name? Michael Pepe-Mooney
What school are you currently attending? Vassar College
What year will you be starting in the fall? Senior
Why did you choose to attend the SENSORS program? I chose to attend SENSORS because it seemed to be a fascinating, multidisciplinary program dealing with very relevant technological issues for the future. It is a fabulous hands-on learning experience in a real lab.
Who are you working with, and what research are you doing? I’m working with Dr. Athina Petropulu measuring and reducing multipath interference in wireless channels.
What are your goals/aspirations for the future? Whatever I end up doing I hope to continue my scientific exploration of the physical universe, while at the same time maintaining my other passions for music and art. Ideally, I will find some way to let the knowledge for each discipline inform my work in the others.
