What is your name? Ricky Silver
What school are you currently attending? Skidmore College
What year will you be starting in the fall? Senior
Why did you choose to attend the SENSORS program? The hands-on experience I would gain from working in a graduate school atmosphere and the possibility of working on research that will seriously effect the world.
Who are you working with, and what research are you doing? I am working with Dr. Shih and John-Paul McGovern on characterizing the insulation layer used on the cantilevers and its relationship to the cleaning piranha solution.
What are your goals/aspirations for the future? I would like to attend graduate school and earn my Ph.D. in a field involving the Biochemical world and its relationship to the human body.
