| Why did you choose to attend the SENSORS program? |
I thought it would be a good opportunity to get more experience in the lab and it coincided well with Drexel’s co-op program. I was able to work in the lab for the summer to fulfill my requirements for the BS/MS program at Drexel. |
| Who are you working with, and what research are you doing? |
I am working with Dr. Caroline Schauer. We work with the biopolymer, chitosan, studying structural color. I am specifically looking at different substrates for biopolymer thin films to study structural color effects. |
| What are your goals/aspirations for the future? |
I plan to graduate from Drexel in June 2008. After that I am considering graduate school and eventually would like to go into academia. |
