Dianna Yeung

What school are you currently attending?	I go to Skidmore College and am majoring in Chemistry.
What year will you be starting in the fall?	I will be a senior in the fall.
Why did you choose to attend the SENSORS program?	I wanted to do something this summer that would be fun and would allow me to learn something valuable. Therefore, I was really excited when I was accepted into the SENSORS program and would have the opportunity to do research. I also wanted to get a look at what the graduate school atmosphere was like.
Who are you working with, and what research are you doing?	I am working on the synthesis of non-toxic FeS2 (iron sulfide) quantum dots with Hui Li, Dr. Wei-Heng Shih and Dr. Wan Y. Shih.
What are your goals/aspirations for the future?	I plan to attend graduate school in the future in some area related to chemistry. I am not yet sure what specific filed I will be going into.
