Q: What is your name?
A: Robert A. Thomas III
Q: What school are you currently attending?
A: Drexel University
Q: What year will you be starting in the fall?
A: Sophomore
Q: Why did you choose to attend the DREAM program?
A: Obtaining research experience to help give me an understanding of what graduate school is like as well as the real world of engineering. Lastly it will look good on my resume to have REU experience.
Q: Who are you working with, and what research are you doing?
A: I am working with Dejan Stojakovic as well Dr. Surya Kalidindi on establishing the recrystalliation kenetics of 3% Silicon Steel.
Q: What are your goals/aspirations for the future?
A: My goal for the future, if all goes well, will consist of a lot of schooling. I am planning on finishing college, and then going to medical school, while in medical school, I will decide for sure which type of doctor that I want to be, and then go through residency and fellowships. Lastly if all of my plans go smoothly, then I will be a practicing doctor.
