Q: What is your name?
A: Daniel Magagnosc
Q: What school are you currently attending?
A: Penn State University
Q: What year will you be starting in the fall?
A: Sophomore
Q: Why did you choose to attend the DREAM program?
A: I chose to attend the DREAM program because I saw it as a great opportunity to experience a research and graduate program outside of Penn State University. I also found the areas of research here at Drexel very interesting.
Q: Who are you working with, and what research are you doing?
A: I am working in Dr. Kalidindi’s group. I am currently working on creating a computer model of flat-punch nanoindentation. Eventually, I will move onto actually indenting materials.
Q: What are your goals/aspirations for the future?
A: I plan on going to graduate school and earning my doctorate. After school I want would like to continue to do research though perhaps not in an academic setting.
