Kelly Ware
Interview
Q: What is your name?
A: Kelly Ware
Q: What school are you currently attending?
A: University of North Texas
Q: What year will you be starting in the fall?
A: Sophomore
Q: Why did you choose to attend the DREAM program?
A: I had never been to the east coast before and I’ve always really wanted to go. Also, in the DREAM program you actually get to participate and make valuable contributions in research, rather than just being given grunt work.
Q: Who are you working with, and what research are you doing?
A: I’m working in Dr. Yossef Eladb’s lab under the instruction of Dan Hallinan. I’m doing research on Nafion polymer membranes for direct methanol fuel cells.
Q: What are your goals/aspirations for the future?
A: I am planning on getting at least a Masters in mechanical engineering with an emphasis on aerospace engineering. Also, I hope to continue doing sometime of research when I return to North Texas in the fall.
