Doherty and Kalidindi receive New NSF Grant

Roger Doherty and Surya Kalidindi have just been formally informed by NSF that their proposal titled, "Inter-American Materials Collaboration: Investigation of Grain Scale Deformation and Recrystallization in Columnar Grained Electrical Steels with a <100> Fiber Texture" has been approved for funding at $349,000 for 36 months. This award will be supported by the Metals Program in the Division of Materials Research, the Americas Program in the Office of International Science and Engineering, and the Office of Multidisciplinary Activities in the Directorate for Mathematical and Physical Sciences.
