Emily Ho and Nevin Naguib Make Top 10 in 2004 International Business Plan Competition

Emily Ho and Nevin Naguib, Ph.D. students in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Drexel University, have been chosen to participate in the University of San Francisco 2004 International Business Plan Competition to present their venture plan, "Hy-Nano," April 1-3, 2004 in San Francisco, CA.  They were selected from over 150 high quality submissions from universities around the world and will compete with approximately 25 other semi-finalists.  Last year's semi-finalists predominantly came from top business schools around the world, although students from any discipline may submit proposals.  The judges for the competition include Venture Capitalists and CEOs.  Emily and Nevin were second prize winners in the 2003 Business Plan Competition sponsored by the Laurence A. Baiada Center for Entrepreneurship in Technology and the LeBow College of Business at Drexel University.  They will be the sole team representing Drexel University in the International Competition.
