Eva Wagner Wins 2nd Place in Metallography Competition

Eva Wagner, soon-to-be senior majoring in Materials Science and Engineering, was awarded second place in the 2004 Powder Metallurgy Metallography Competition, held in Chicago, IL from June 14th to 17th, 2004.

The competition is sponsored by APMI International, the scientific society for powder metallurgy. Eva's entry was titled, "Dual Phase P/M Stainless Steels: Strength at Reduced Cost."

Eva is pursuing this topic as a Senior Design project with Professor Alan Lawley as faculty advisor. She is currently completing her final coop assignment with Hoeganaes Corporation in Cinnaminson, NJ.
