Zavaliangos Receives NSF Grant

Dr. Antonios Zavaliangos, Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, has received funding for a grant entitled, "Manufacturing of Nanocrystalline Bulk Materials by Field Activated Sintering" from NSF-DMII. The grant is funded at $360,000 and will be co-funded by DMII and DMR. This is a collaborative proposal with Prof. Joanna Groza of the University of California, Davis. Drexel is the leading institution and its share of the budget is $187,244.
