Dr. Roger Doherty is chosen to be a TMS Fellow

Dr. Roger Doherty, A. W. Grosvenor Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, has been chosen to be a TMS Fellow. Doherty is one of five recipients of the 2007 Fellow Award. This award is presented to people who have made outstanding contributions to the practice of metallurgy or materials science and technology. The award will be presented at the TMS Awards Dinner on Tuesday, February 27, 2007 in Orlando, Florida during the 136th TMS Annual Meeting. The mission of TMS (The Minerals, Metals, and Materials Society), is “to promote the global science and engineering professions concerned with minerals, metals, and materials.”
