Dr. Yury Gogotsi, professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, has had his Nanomaterials Handbook reviewed in the inaugural issue of Nature Nanotechnology.
According to Nature Nanotechnology, Gogotsi “provides a valuable snapshot of present advances and plans for the future” of nanotechnology in his book. Nature Nanotechnology reviewer Ray Baughman says that the “broad perspective provided by the handbook helps prepare the dedicated reader to exploit the interdisciplinary nature of nanotechnology” and that, “from talented undergraduates to world experts, many readers will benefit from this book.” Nature Nanotechnology, a multidisciplinary journal that publishes papers of the highest quality and significance in areas of nanoscience and nanotechnology, is one of the world’s foremost weekly scientific journals.
Gogotsi's Nanomaterials Handbook was previously reviewed in the August 2006 issue of NanoToday, "a guide to the latest in nanoscience and technology research."
