Dr. Christopher Li, assistant professor of materials science and engineering, was noted on ReliablePlant.com on October 30, 2006 for receiving the Bradley Stoughton Award for Young Teachers from ASM International.
Li received the award in mid-October “for his outstanding enthusiasm for teaching materials science and engineering classes and the establishment of the thermal analysis center for undergraduate education at Drexel University.”
The Stoughton Award "was established in 1952. It recognizes and fosters excellence in the teaching of materials science, materials engineering, design, and processing to encourage young teachers in this field."
