Dr. Yury Gogotsi, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering and Director of the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute, has been invited to serve on the International Editorial Board of Ceramics International. Ceramics International ranks among the leading journals in the field of ceramics science and publishes works primarily focused on the fundamental aspects of ceramic science and their application to the development of improved ceramic materials.
Dr. Gogotsi was invited to join the board because of his well-recognized contributions in the area of Materials Science, and specifically in Ceramics Science, according to Dr. Pietro Vincenzini, General Editor, Ceramics International. Gogotsi’s appointment began in January and will span five years. International Editorial Board members assist in formulating guidelines for publication policies, as well as, acting as referees for the review process of papers submitted to Ceramics International.
