Gleb Yushin Accepts Position At Georgia Tech

Dr. Gleb Yushin, Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, will be joining the School of Materials Science and Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in July 2007. Georgia Tech’s College of Engineering ranks fourth in the U.S. News and World report, following MIT, Stanford and UC Berkeley.

Prior to joining Drexel as a post-doctoral researcher in 2003, Gleb received his Ph.D. from North Carolina State. After one year at Drexel, he was promoted to Research Assistant Professor for his contributions to the operation of Dr. Yury Gogotsi’s Nanomaterials Group and the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute. Gleb has published extensively, presented a number of invited conference papers and received national awards for his work performed at Drexel.
