Schauer Receives Grant from Ben Franklin Technology Partners

Professor Caroline Schauer has received a $50K grant from Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) entitled "Cross-linked Electrospun Chitosan Nanofibrous Mats for Lead Remediation."  This eight month grant will allow for the investigation of electrospun chitosan nanofibers as filtration devices for lead.

BFTP is a Pennsylvania-based organization that focuses on fostering entrepreneurial development and technological innovation in Pennsylvania.
