Dr. Yury Gogotsi, Director of the A.J. Drexel Nanotechnology Institute and Trustee Chair Professor of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), recently received a grant from the NanoTechnology Institute/ Ben Franklin Technology Partners (BFTP) titled, "Nanoscale Cellular Probes." This grant is a continuation of an existing collaboration with the University of Pennsylvania and Temple University. The goal of this project is to develop nanotube-based cellular probes and to test their biological sensing capability. The budget for this one-year cycle is $99,000.
