Wegst Group Ph.D. Students Win Awards at Fall MRS Meeting

Ph.D. student Amalie Donius (advisor: Ulrike Wegst) has won a poster award at the Fall 2010 MRS meeting held in Boston, MA for her poster, "Biomaterials for Bone Tissue Engineering," co-authored with Ph.D. student Philipp M. Hunger and undergraduate students Nasreen Khan and David J. Shields, along with advisor Professor Ulrike G.K. Wegst.

In addition, Hunger won second place in the Science as Art Award competition for his image "Surfacing Turtle."  The image was featured on Nanowerk.
