Brian Sparber Receives Center for Powder Metallurgy Technology/Axel Madsen Award

B.S. student Brian Sparber (advisor: Mitra Taheri) is one of four recipients of this year's Center for Powder Metallurgy Technology (CPMT)/Axel Madsen award.

The $1,500 award is given to support the costs of attending PowderMet 2011, the conference of MPIF/APMI International on powder metallurgy and particulate materials to be held May 18-21, 2011 in San Francisco, CA.

Brian will present a technical poster at the conference and will prepare a detailed report of the conference to be published in the International Journal of Powder Metallurgy.  He will be honored with the award at the Industry Recognition Luncheon on May 19.
