MSE students from the Nano Materials Group have received awards in both the undergraduate and graduate categories at Drexel University's annual Research Day competition on Friday, April 8, 2011.
In the Undergraduate category of "Creative Arts & Design," Kristy Jost (advisor: Genevieve Dion) received an award for "Fashionable Technology." In addition, the Westphal College of Media Arts and Design awarded her an independent college second place prize.
In the Graduate category of "Physical Science and Engineering," Ph.D. student Riju Singhal (adivosr: Yury Gogotsi) and co-authors Zulfiya Orynbayeva, Junjie Niu, Michael Schrlau, Gary Friedman, and Yury Gogotsi received an award for "Carbon Nanotube Endoscopes for Intra-cellular Analysis."
