Humboldt Research Fellow Volker Presser Selected to Participate in "Building Bridges" Conference in Germany

Dr. Volker Presser, postdoctoral Humboldt Research Fellow in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, was selected as one of the the most promising German young scientists to participate in the "Building Bridges - top level research in Germany - top researchers for Germany" event organized by the German Scholars Organization e.V.

This three-day event will take place June 22nd - 25th in Berlin, Germany and includes a career workshop, a conference on strategies for innovative top level research, and an evening reception at Bellevue Palace, including a personal meeting with Christian Wulff, the German President.  Volker was selected in a highly competitive process to participate in this prestigious event because of his research in next-generation energy storage materials and carbon nanotechnology.
