hot news! Matthew has accepted an Assistant Professor position at The College of New Jersey in the Department of Technological Studies starting Fall 2008. Holly has been awarded the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship. Mike has been accepted to the materials science and engineering doctoral program at the University of Florida and will be starting August 2008. Matthew, Janah and Frannie published their paper on thiolated chitosan thin films in Biomacromolecules, 2008, 9(1). Dr. Schauer was invited to write a review paper, "A Review: Electrospinning of biopolymer nanofibers and their applications" for Polymer Reviews. Jessica was the MATPAC Best Graduate Student Award recipient.
