Centralized Research Facilities

Drexel University's Centralized Research Facilities (CRF) includes state-of-the-art modern analytical and imaging labs in the Bossone Research Enterprise Center and a Micro Fabrication lab in the LeBow Engineering Building of the College of Engineering.  The CRF provides access to advanced equipment for electron microscopy, vibrational spectroscopy, elemental analysis, x-ray diffraction, nanoindentation, and micro fabrication. The CRF's mission is to facilitate maintenance and use of high-end research instruments that are not readily available to a single research group, with a a major focus on the training and education of students and researchers on how to employ cutting-edge research instruments.  Equipment in the CRF is available to Drexel students and researchers, and also to researchers from other universities and government and industrial laboratories. Completely assisted services are provided for infrequent use by untrained researchers from academia and industry.
